2020 Nissan GTR Concept

2020 Nissan GTR Concept

2020 Nissan GTR Concept - Nissan has been synonymous with performance since the Skyline GT-R in 1969. The moniker quickly made a name for itself in its path and track, which eventually evolved into a continuing coupet of competitions that began in the late 1980s. . The story continues until the 1990s with the R33 and R34 models, and stopped unexpectedly in 2002 when Nissan decided to discuss the GT-R line from the Skyline name. Five years later, the 2020 Nissan GTR Concept that we all know today comes alive and the circumstances become very fast and powerful.

Now, with the GT-R getting up there at the age, Nissan wants to take it a notch. One that might include a hybrid powertrain, a large size of power and a twist, and a new design. The Japanese are not too keen on divulging the address behind the new 2020 Nissan GTR, but it gives us a sense of the following supercars by using the Gran Turismo franchise. Dubbed the Nissan Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo, this virtual concept vehicle has been available in the game since 2014 and I'm expected to materialize, in some form or other, like the upcoming Nissan GT-R.

Nissan brings the latest version of the concept car concept Gran Turismo 2020 in 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. Do not get hooked, because the only "update" including the red body color signature V-Motion hand. We have to dive the new red cat is perfect!

The outside part

Like Nissan's most audacious concept car, the Gran Turismo 2020's vision was created by a team of young corporate designers at Nissan Design Europe in the UK. And from the side view, there are no restrictions set aside to stay within the aerodynamic limits and stick to Nissan's current design language.

2020 Nissan GTR Concept

Although radical with styling, Vision Gran Turismo 2020 Nissan GTR Concept is recognized as both Nissan and GT-R. The V-shaped front grille is not available on the current GT-R - in concept, a gaping trapezoidal mouth. The prominent nose is flanked by a fast vertical intake of carbon fiber fins. It is connected to two parts of the spoiler lips at the bottom and blends beautifully with narrow headlamps on top. LED unit goes into sculpted fenders that have the same shape.

The latest version shown at the Tokyo Motor Show 2015 received a new LED headlamp pattern and a sharper V-shaped grille. In addition, the black paint has been replaced with the red flame Fire Knight.
The scenario changes completely around the back. A large carbon fiber wing floats just above the rear, while the carbon fiber rear diffuser occupies most of the lower fascia. The piece sitting in the middle is raised upward and makes this concept look like it is ready for the race at Le Mans and not the most exciting virtual track in the world. Inside the rear fender like a blade there is a pair of futuristic rear lights that make us wonder whether this concept is not supported by rocket fuel and not gasoline.

Visible radicals continue on the sides, because the deep wrinkles at the bottom hide what looks like a side exhaust system installed just below the front wheels. The door carries a rather unusual shape and does not have any door handles, but serves as a carbon fiber mirror supporter. Sure, it works as a camera and sends pictures inside the cockpit.

By the way, the greenhouse is another detail that reminds us of the current GT-R, although its overall shape is fouled with racing prototypes. Interestingly enough, the rear quarter windows are still in place, which is a strong indication that this concept car will be more than just a virtual racer.

Outback

Just like all the Gran Turismo Vision concepts, the 2020 Nissan GTR Concept comes without any details about the interior. However, there are some official photos showing some high-tech cockpit cars, which seem to incorporate some carbon fiber components and a pair of light bucket seats. Both the rearview mirror and dashboard parts are made of carbon fiber, while the steering wheel is a speculative, multi-functional unit with the top and bottom flat. Although not visible in this photo, the center stack must display a view that receives images from a fender-mount camera that works like side mirrors.

Drivetrain

No word of the type of drivetrain lurking behind a long veil, but not surprisingly, the 2020 Nissan GTR Concept was created for racing video games. It could be anything, because the Gran Turismo Vision car is mostly about futuristic design and the figure of horsepower is ridiculous. All told, if you want to break the record as many laps as possible in the game, Concept 2020 is the vehicle you need to consider.
